A CONVERSATION WITH JOHN ROLLISON AND GEORGE WASHINGTON

Saturday, February 23, 2019
8:00 PM in the lobby

All tickets $15.00

Join us in the Williamsburg Players lobby for an open discussion of the happenings of today with two of Virginia’s founding fathers. One Black, one White: John Rollison, merchant, plantation owner, slave owner, signer of the York County, “Committee for Allegiance” and George Washington, first President under the Constitution. Enjoy a glass of wine, ale, or soda as you engage in an open discussion of issues past and present with these two founding fathers.

John Rollison will be portrayed by historian, lecturer, and re-enactor James Cameron. George Washington will be portrayed by Michael Tapavica, an actor who has appeared in the TV series "TURN," as well as the movie "Sword of Truth" as a British officer.

There will also be a book signing of James Cameron's book “We Hold These Truths”.

This is NOT part of the Williamsburg Players' regular season. A separate ticket must be purchased to see this performance.
