Jingle writer Jerry Sloan and his lawyer wife Alice are expecting their first child. Their house is overcrowded enough with Alice's father Abe, a curmudgeon of the first degree. When Jerry's feisty mom Mildred's house burns down, she joins the household, and soon the constant squabbles between the two strong-willed parents threaten to turn a full house into a madhouse. Troubles with the in-laws have never been so funny!
