Planned Giving
Other Ways to Give

There are many ways you can support Williamsburg Players. Your contributions help us fullfill our mission by supporting the shows we produce, our facilities, and the scholarships we offer.

Planned Giving

Help ensure the future vitality of Williamsburg Players by including us in your estate plan. You can provide a simple bequest through your will, name Williamsburg Players as a beneficiary of an Annuity or of a Charitable Remainder Trust. Your gift for the future will enhance the long-term stability of Williamsburg Players.

Depending on your specific situation, making a planned gift can have tax advantages for your estate. We recommend that you consult with your attorney or financial advisor to find a solution that accommodates your needs and assures that your wishes are fulfilled.

There are many types of assets that can be used to fund a charitable gift to Williamsburg Players. These include:

  • Cash
  • Business Interests
  • Appreciated Stocks
  • IRAs/Retirement Plans
  • Real Estate
  • Life Insurance
  • Personal Property
  • Other Assets

To include Williamsburg Players in your estate plans, you may use the following language:

"I hereby give and bequeath to Williamsburg Players, a nonprofit corporation in Williamsburg, Virginia, operating under tax ID # XX-XXXXXXX [specific amount, percentage of estate, or specific property] for general purposes."

Please contact our treasurer at treasurer@williamsburgplayers.org to discuss setting up your planned giving.
