About Us
- The Williamsburg Players is a non-profit, all volunteer organization whose mission is to provide the best in community theater.
- The Players are a community-owned and operated business with its Bylaws available to the public. Anyone can become a member of the Williamsburg Players by either donating your time or money.
- The Williamsburg Players is a 501c(3) tax exempt organization, IRS Section 170(b)(2)(iii) for both federal and state tax purposes.
- The Williamsburg Players is a member of
American Association of Community Theatre
- The Players are managed by a Board of Directors, whose members are elected to a 3-year term (see Bylaws) at the Annual Meeting of the membership of the Williamsburg Players, normally held in August of each year.
- The Board is assisted by a Staff, who also are all volunteers.
- Finally, the Board appoints Committees which handle such tasks as:
- The selection of plays for each season,
- The annual award of the McCulley-Scammon scholarship.

The Williamsburg Players is a non-profit community theater committed to enriching and broadening the cultural life and experience of the Greater Tidewater Community. Our mission is to present professional quality theater productions which challenge, stimulate, educate, and entertain our audiences, members and volunteers. Hands on teaching and scholarship programs provide opportunities for education, experience, growth, and challenge.
