Alcohol and Drug Policy
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to insure that there is no use of alcohol, illegal drugs, or other mind altering substances legal or illegal in the theater except for the functions specified below.
Policies
Violations of this policy are contrary to the best interests of the organization. There will be no use or possession of illegal drugs or mind-altering substances on Players property at any time.
Alcohol is prohibited except for events that have been pre-approved to include alcohol: the Premier Night Party, the Cast Party, and any performance time block (concessions only).
Concessions can sell/serve wine and beer at any adult performance in conformance with our ABC license. Under no circumstances will those under 21 serve or be served alcohol.
The Board reserves the right to have offenders removed from the premises as a violation of this policy. For a cast party, a decision to remove an offender can be made by: a member of the Board, the director, the production manager, or the stage manager. The Board must be notified afterwards if such action was required.
